Procurement, advice, and project work The procurement organization of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency includes procurement, purchasing analysis, electronic commerce, and travel management. Geographically, we are located in Stockholm, Sundsvall, Arvidsjaur, Östersund, Ystad, and Umeå. The operational area consists of 31 people. You will belong to the procurement unit where 19 procurement officers currently work with all the agency's procurements and orders. One of our IT procurement officers is starting a new position within our operational area, and we are therefore looking for an experienced IT procurement officer.

Your clients are within the agency's IT department, and the needs include hardware, software, and IT consultants. You will participate in qualified pre-studies, market analyses, and carry out procurements and orders independently or in a group. You can manage several parallel projects in a structured manner. As the link between operations and technology, the work requires you to have a very good ability to maintain and develop relationships within the agency's various departments as well as with the supplier market and other stakeholders. Your procurement work also includes negotiations, contract follow-ups, and contract management. The work involves driving or participating in projects, being an advisor and educator in the procurement area. You will inform the organization about current agreements, laws, and purchasing procedures to provide the agency's employees with the best possible support and assistance in procurement issues. You ensure that business ethics and good relationships are well managed with both internal and external contacts. You thrive in and are accustomed to a role where you analyze complex data and make well-founded decisions that you translate into clear strategies. The work is conducted in accordance with laws and the agency's processes. The Swedish Social Insurance Agency is located in several places around the country, and much of the collaboration takes place digitally.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has a degree from a university or college or equivalent experience or qualifications that can be assessed as equivalent
  • has good experience of independently working practically with purchasing or procurement work
  • has good knowledge of LOU (the Public Procurement Act), both practically and theoretically
  • has good experience in procuring hardware and software and support services
  • acts proactively on their own initiative and takes responsibility for results
  • is service-oriented and used to working with the customer in focus
  • is structured, has good judgment, and possesses strong analytical skills
  • has the ability to work independently in a consultative manner and build contact and trust
  • has good communication skills with excellent knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English.

It is an advantage if you:

  • have experience with security-classified procurements
  • have experience in procurements within the defense and security sector
  • have experience in procuring consulting services
  • have practical experience in project management and process-oriented work
  • have experience working with category responsibility.
